Retreat Behavioral Health Announces Ongoing Partnership with the Fentanyl Awareness Coalition

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (Palm Springs, FL) Retreat Behavioral Health has announced an important new partnership with the Fentanyl Awareness Coalition (FAC), an organization dedicated to addressing the increasing presence of Fentanyl in the U.S. drug supply, as well as the new paradigm of drug use in the country and its impact on our youth population.

Retreat’s partnership with FAC will help address the influx of Fentanyl and Fentanyl-related overdoses across the United States by educating the public and dispelling any myths associated with Fentanyl. Both organizations share the belief that healthcare systems have an important role to play in combating this issue, and that working together is the best way to make a positive change.

As part of this new partnership, Retreat and the Fentanyl Awareness Coalition have joined forces for an event to benefit the FAC and its awareness campaigns. Speakers for the event include CEO of Retreat Behavioral Health Peter Schorr and CEO of FAC Michael Gray, as well as keynotes from James W. “Jim” Carroll, Director of the National Drug Control Policy and Uttam Anthony Singh Dhillon from the White House DEA and Department of Homeland Security. The event will also include a silent auction to support FAC.
